Challenge #69 GLITTER!!!

Welcome to the GLITTER challenge! Funny thing about this challenge is: I have hardly any glitter in the store right now! The distributor who I had been ordering the majority of my glitter from (Glitter Ritz) has discontinued carrying it and is now be carrying a better, less expensive product called Silk Microfine Glitter! Silk Microfine Glitter is in the store now for preorder and is estimated to be shipping to you in late March. There are 40 awesome colors, and the cool and warm glitters come in 1/2 oz. and 1 oz. jars.

Before we look at the Design Team's awesome creations, we need to celebrate the TOP 3 from the Anything Goes Challenge and the winner of the $20 gift certificate.

And now for the TOP 3 and the random winner! REMEMBER, the ONLY way to win top 3 or the gift certificate is to use products (primarily the stamped image) carried in the store!!!

Be sure to grab the TOP 3 badge to display proudly on your blog!!!

MINI TUTORIAL: Making Your Own Glitter Paper

Color Card Stock
Sowang Double Sided Tape: 8.5 x 11 sheet
Die cut

Choose your color of glitter and card stock. You'll want to use a very similar color of paper just in case there is a small area not covered or rubbed off of the tape.

Cut your card stock and double sided tape with your die cut.

Peel the back paper off of the tape and apply it to your cut card stock.

After you adhere your 2 sided tape to your card stock -
peel the white paper from the tape and cover it with glitter.

So pretty and much cheaper than buying glitter paper!

  1. Gorgeous DT cards and fab glitter tutorial!!
